1) Fast-paced drills is a suitable and perfect methods in over on subject and topics that require a lot of memory work2) Humour during tutoring session can reduce pressure and increase level of engagement drastically. refocus the student and re-energise them to grasp what you are saying
3) Pause procedure to help improve retention. pause their lecture after every 20-30 minutes to give students time to get their mind around what you have just said.
4) Let them do a problem on their own so student can apply what they have learnt. its the only way to be sure that they have understood the concept
