About Me

Good day,

My name is Hafizi Nawi, and it is my pleasure to introduce myself as a dedicated professional with a strong academic background and a passion for education. I am a graduate of UiTM Shah Alam, where I completed my studies with a commendable CGPA of 3.45. Prior to that, I pursued a Diploma in Mathematical Sciences at UiTM Machang, achieving an outstanding CGPA of 3.85.

Throughout my educational journey, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to excellence. I am proud to have been an alumnus of MRSM Pengkalan Chepa and Gerik during my upper and lower secondary forms, respectively. Both my SPM and PMR examinations resulted in exceptional performances, as I obtained 8As in each.

In addition to my academic accomplishments, I have valuable experience as a peer mentor and tutor. I have been actively involved in mentoring my fellow students, both in-person and through online platforms. For instance, during my diploma studies, I served as a peer mentor for Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 subjects for two semesters. Furthermore, I had the privilege of mentoring students in a comprehensive SPM mathematics preparation program.

My scholastic achievements extend beyond my academic performance. I am honored to have received the Vice Chancellor's Award upon graduating with my diploma. I have also been selected as a scholar under the prestigious Yayasan Sime Darby - Tunas Potensi and Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman for both my diploma and degree studies, among other noteworthy accomplishments.

Driven by a belief in the potential of every individual, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. I am confident that with the right guidance and a determined mindset, anyone can overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. I am eager to extend my expertise and support to your children in their pursuit of academic excellence.

Teaching Method(s)

In my teaching methodology, I prioritize empowering students with the tools and strategies they need for success. I strongly advocate for students to verify their answers, encouraging them to develop a sense of confidence and ownership in their work. I emphasize the importance of understanding concepts rather than blindly following formulas, as this enables students to grasp the underlying principles and apply them in various scenarios. By fostering a deep comprehension of the subject matter, I empower students to tackle complex problems with clarity and precision. Additionally, I am known for my expertise in providing tips and tricks, equipping students with practical techniques that enhance their problem-solving skills. My ultimate goal is to instill in my students a sense of self-reliance and critical thinking, enabling them to excel not only in exams but also in real-world applications.
