I have 5 years experience in teaching. I teach English and Science subject for primary and secondary school.Teaching Method(s)
On the first class for English subject:I always prepare a short story (depending on their level) to find out and check the student ability on:
- Their fluency of reading
- Their understanding based on what they have read
- Their pronunciation
- Their ability on explaining
Hence, I can make a conclusion on how to communicate and prepare a learning journey that are suitable for the student.
Notes that I prepare will be given to the student, after completed for each chapter of the subject, there will be quiz given to the student.
There are also tests that I prepare for each subject. Usually after completed 3 chapters to check student's ability of understanding and explaining regarding the chapters.
At the beginning of the month, I will give the parents monthly academic calendar/class planner for each of my students.
