During my first practicum placement, I was placed at SK St. Aidan, where I practiced the pedagogy knowledge that I had obtained throughout my diploma years. I was totally immersed in experiencing real classroom situation and environment in which thankfully had solidified and ignited my passion to pursue a higher level of formal teaching qualification by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in TESL at UPTM. In the same year, I spent my time juggling between studying and working as a tutor to hone my skills. Nevertheless, I am looking forward for future classes and will take tutoring as one of the way to improve and level-up my skills as a teacher.Teknik Pengajaran
1. I will assess the students' level of proficiency and skills to design a good lesson, specifically align with the students' need.2. I am comfortable to conduct the class entirely in English or bilingually by mixing English and Malay at the same time. However, my main priority is to encourage the students to converse in English.
3. I usually grasp the students' interest by using interactive websites or application such as Wordwall, Quizzes, Kahoot or Blooket.
