Hi I'm Ain. I'm currently a postgraduate student doing my MBA at UKM and is looking for opportunities to help tutor students in my free time. My education background consists of IGCSE, SPM A-Levels, Degree and currently, Masters. Despite not having a proper background in paid tutoring, I've tutored numerous peers and was also the head of multiple revision groups organised by my institution. My main strengths would be Mathematics (A+ in SPM & A* in A-Levels) and English (A+ in SPM). Minor subjects that I'm open to tutor are Physics and Accounting (both A in my A-Levels). I believe the fact that I still am currently a student allows me to have more empathy in the struggle of understanding and grasping some aspects in certain subjects. I never see lack of understanding as a flaw but rather a learning process that needs to be experienced by every student. My approach to teaching starts off with focusing on the student's capabilities and limits. Working around this information enables a more effective teaching style that is curated for each student. Discovering the root of their interests can help me communicate with the students better. Aside from the mundane teaching style that we all know and love, I would also include creative teaching aspects as audio video style and flashcards to strengthen memory and other skills. Besides that, active recall can be constructive for making sure the knowledge in embedded in the student's minds. Albeit my lack of experience can seem as somewhat of a flaw, but I'm confident everyone has their own learning curve in doing all sorts of things. I will definitely ensure my student will be treated with empathy but also firmness in achieving their target.Penilaian & Maklumbalas
