Hi, I am Hemaruba,a psychology undergraduate Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) who has strong passion in teaching and sharing knowledge as I believe that every child has the rights to gain proper education. Im also very keen in exploring various ways, new skills and knowledge to enable the child to better understand what has been taught. Hence, my this very passion had driven me to start first career in the field of special education, whereby I worked as a behavior therapist that aided children with autism to learn or improve their education and skills. At the same time, I also continued to tutor for other students as well. My students' positive improvements that I could observe over time gives me a sense of satisfaction, happiness and meaning in life.And because of my patience in dealing with kids or children that learns in a very slow pace, i am very happy to say that my student who does not even know how write can write more independently now , excel in their subjects as maths, science, language subjects. Its just the matter of teaching the way that the child understands than the way we understand.
Teaching Method(s)
My way of teaching is that I usually like to assess where the child is facing difficulties and what is the best way to teach the child so that the child could be able to understand easily what has been taught. Sometimes, I also like to prepare some educational materials from my side before hand for the topic that I want to teach the child for the day that may excite the learning process of the child and this may also help the child to pick up the facts/concepts easily. I emphasize more on teaching according to my students needs and pace as well as teach in a way that the student understand. Giving more practices, examples and also testing students on the topic being taught from time to time would help my students to actually understand the main concept instead of just memorizing it.Subject
