About Me

I am a passionate aspiring future teacher, I have gained valuable experience during my four-month practical training at SJKT school. This opportunity provided me with firsthand exposure to the challenges and rewards of teaching in a diverse classroom setting. I have been exposed to a variety of teaching strategies during my diploma studies and ongoing degree program, which has improved my teaching approach. As a teacher, my main goal is to help students to develop a better understanding on how to use the English language.

Teaching Method(s)

In order to produce engaging, non-textbook-oriented courses that accommodate a variety of learning styles, I think technology should be smoothly integrated with traditional teaching aids. My goal is to establish a dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere where students may flourish and effectively acquire critical language skills by implementing creative teaching approaches. Also, my main strategy of teaching is Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) technique, I also incorporate other powerful techniques to improve language learning. Among the most useful strategies are the Audio-Lingual Method (ALM) and Total Physical Response (TPR), which enable students to interact with language through kinesthetic and auditory experiences. Language competency is further strengthened by incorporating different drills approach in classroom, I use text exploitation reading drills to improve reading comprehension and critical analysis abilities, repetition drills to strengthen vocabulary and grammar structures, and question-and-answer drills to encourage fluency and interactive communication. Through the integration of these approaches, I establish a complete and dynamic learning environment that accommodates a range of learning styles and improves my students' language acquisition.
