Greetings! I am a 23-year-old biology nerd named Fatin Yusrina. I began my educational journey at Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC), an all-girls boarding school for 5 years. Later in 2023, I graduated from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) with a First Class degree in Bachelor of Science (Biological Sciences). Upon graduation, I received an exciting opportunity to pursue a PhD at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in the field of enzyme biotechnology. Currently, I am conducting research on hyperthermostable enzymes and their applications. Although teaching might be a new field for me, however, I am certainly looking forward to be a dedicated tutor and share my knowledge in the biological field with you.Teaching Method(s)
In my classes, I emphasize creative and colorful note-taking to make learning more interesting and easier to remember. I love using acronyms to help students memorize key information effectively. While I personally prefer physical classes for their direct interaction, I also ensure online classes are interactive and engaging by including various activities. Additionally, I provide handouts after each session to help students recap the lessons they learnt that day. My ultimate goal is to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that caters various learning preferences.Subject
