With experience tutoring students in the UK and a strong background in Chemical Engineering, I specialise in teaching Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, and Chemistry in both Bahasa Melayu and English.
I focus on helping students strengthen their understanding and catch up with the syllabus through clear, easy-to-follow steps and explanations, structured and personalised notes, and additional practice materials when needed*. Teaching Method(s)
My teaching method is focused on making complex and hard-to-understand concepts quick and simpler to understand. I break down topics into easy steps, ensuring students build strong foundational knowledge before progressing to more advanced questions. I provide colourful, well-structured notes that make learning more engaging and easier to revise.
To reinforce understanding, I incorporate quizzes, targeted practice questions, and past exam papers into my classes. These help students identify weak areas and improve their problem-solving skills.
Lessons are interactive and student-centred! I encourage questions, discussions, and active participation to keep students engaged. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and learning needs, whether they require more guidance, repetition, or harder and challenging questions to push their abilities further.
Additionally, I also provide extra materials and revision strategies to help students stay on track outside of lessons. My goal is not only to help students catch up with the syllabus but also to build their confidence and independence in learning!
