Hello! I’m Yanusiya, a private tutor with 2 years of experience specializing in Mathematics. I focus on exam preparation and test-taking strategies to adapt the lessons to each student's learning style. My goal is to make complex concepts simple and enjoyable.
I’ve helped students raise their grades significantly, such as improving from a C to an A in Mathematics.

Besides Mathematics, I have experience working in a day care centre, teaching 3-4 year old kids. I love kids and believe with great guidance, we will be able to mould any kids according to the parent’s needs.


Classes: Preferably on weekdays after 6pm. I will plan the class if it requires weekend classes. The reason to this is because I’m working full time in a company in Kota Damansara. Any areas in Selangor is accessible for me.

Method: Preferably in-person class.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking and listening to motivation videos. I’m excited to work with you and support your learning journey.

As a tutor, it’s important to create an approach that helps students understand and enjoy the subject. I will start by assessing their level to know what they already understand, then simplify complex ideas into smaller, manageable steps. I’ll use real-life examples to show how math is relevant, making the subject more engaging.

I will also encourage active participation by letting students solve problems themselves and ask guiding questions to foster critical thinking.

Regular practice is key to building confidence, and I will always check for understanding throughout the session to ensure they’re following along.

Finally, I will make efforts to recognize that students have different learning styles. Adapt your methods to fit their needs, whether they learn better visually, through listening, or hands-on activities.

Not all of these will work at times, hence I will adapt to the student’s needs and teach accordingly.
