Hi! My name is Liya. This is my first time stepping into tutoring, but I’ve always had a passion for learning and sharing knowledge. Back in high school, I was in the Pure Science stream, and my favourite subjects were Mathematics and English. I’m currently a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) with Honours at UCSI University. I look forward to helping students not only improve in their studies but also build confidence in their learning journey.
Teaching Method(s)
I believe every student learns differently, so I like to adjust my teaching style based on their needs and comfort level. For Mathematics, I focus on step-by-step explanations, lots of practice questions, and helping students understand the “why” behind each concept. For English, I encourage interactive learning through discussions, examples, and simple exercises to build both grammar and confidence in communication. My goal is to make lessons engaging, easy to follow, and supportive, so students feel motivated to keep improving.
