My name is Nur Farah, can called me Miss Farah. I am a Mathematics teacher who teaches at a secondary government school in Sarawak. I experienced in teaching primary and preschool students at a tuition centre named Kumon.
Teaching Method(s)
use a variety of active learning techniques that are both fun and effective, such as mind maps, interactive quizzes, and educational games tailored to the students’ level. These techniques not only help students understand concepts more deeply but also make tutoring sessions more enjoyable and engaging.
I focus on two main aspects: concept mastery and exam-answering strategies. Once the student understands the topic, I teach them techniques such as using key answer phrases, managing time during exams, and identifying what the question is really asking. In addition, I provide topical exercises, monthly assessments, and past-year exam questions to familiarize them with the exam format and help them score confidently.
