My name is Nabilah. I do not have any teaching experience and have not taught at any school yet, but I am eager to gain new experience to become a teacher. I have strong writing skills, and I plan to use these skills to teach students how to write essays. One of my achievements in writing is receiving a consolation prize in the national-level Berita Peringkas Kebangsaan competition.
Teaching Method(s)
Although I am new to teaching, I plan to use interactive and engaging techniques to capture students’ interest. For example, I would incorporate language games, group discussions, and creative writing exercises to make lessons more enjoyable. I believe that every student learns differently. Therefore, I would adopt a variety of teaching approaches, such as giving clear explanations, using step-by-step exercises, and providing individual feedback. I would also encourage students to ask questions and promote peer discussions to reinforce their understanding. To help students achieve good results, I would focus on teaching effective answering techniques, such as understanding the question requirements, planning ideas clearly, and using proper essay structure. I would also provide examples of good essays and conduct writing exercises based on common exam topics. In addition, I would teach students how to review and edit their own writing to identify and correct their mistakes.
