Hi! My name is Adlin, but students can call me Teacher Lin. I’m an Engineer who really enjoys Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. I may not have a background in education, but I’ve always enjoyed explaining Math to others, and I’m usually the one people ask when they need help with a topic.I believe that with the right support, anyone can do well in Math. It doesn’t have to be stressful — it can be simple, fun, and yes, even an easy A with the right approach! I teach in a calm and patient way, always following the student’s pace to make sure they truly understand.
My goal is to help students feel more confident and comfortable with Math, step by step
Teaching Method(s)
1. Step by step approachI guide students through problems step by step, making sure they understand each part before moving on.
2. Learn from mistake
I always create a comfortable space where students aren’t afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are part of learning, and I guide students to learn from them positively.
3. Active Learning
I like to ask students questions back and get them involved during the session. It helps build confidence and makes learning more fun.
4. Patience & Encouragement
I'm very patient, and I always encourage students to ask as many questions as they want as there is no question ever too small or silly.
5. Peer-Like Learning
I try to keep the learning environment casual and friendly, like learning from a helpful senior or friend.
