Arlisha , I am currently undergoing my teaching practicum at SK Padang Garong 2 as part of my Diploma in TESL. This practicum marks my first official teaching experience, where I’ve had the opportunity to apply what I’ve learned in real classroom settings. It has helped me grow not only as a teacher but also as an individual, Academically, I have consistently made it onto the Dean’s List and have maintained a 4.0 GPA in several semesters. These achievements reflect my dedication and commitment to excellence. Personally, one of my proudest moments during practicum was witnessing my students gain the confidence to speak English openly, especially those who were initially reluctant. Their progress reminds me why I chose this path.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching style is interactive, student-centered, and flexible. I incorporate games, collaborative tasks, role-plays, visual aids, and digital tools to make lessons engaging and effective. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience, and I always try to adapt my methods to fit the diverse needs and learning styles of my students. Above all, I aim to create a classroom where every student feels encouraged to grow and succeed.
