About Me
Meet Neesha — Your English Tutor
With a degree in English Literature from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and a newly completed TESOL certification, I bring both academic training and real-world communication expertise to the table.

I’ve spent over a decade working with the English language in high impact roles. I started as a journalist, then became a coffee table book writer, a content strategist for Limkokwing University, and now serve as Chief Copywriter for a global brand. While I have one year of formal tutoring experience, I bring the depth of someone who has lived and breathed English professionally for more than ten years.

I work best with primary students, as I believe confidence in language begins with a solid and supportive start. Based on my own teaching journey, I’ve seen students move from D to B grades within a year — but what mattered most was seeing them enjoy the language with confidence.

If you're looking for someone who can not only teach English but help your child truly understand and use it with confidence, I’d love to be part of that journey.
Teaching Method(s)
✏️ My Proven Training Methods
1. Storytelling That Sticks
I turn lessons into stories. With a background in journalism and copywriting, I help young learners connect with English through vivid, relatable storytelling, making each lesson both memorable and fun.

2. Creative Writing Exercises
Using real-world writing techniques, I guide students through structured yet creative tasks that build their skills in sentence structure, tone, and expression; from simple sentences to short stories.

3. Real-Life English, Real Confidence
English isn’t just a subject, it’s a life skill. I use real-life examples, everyday dialogue, and fun scenarios to help students speak and write with purpose and confidence.

4. Read Aloud, Speak Clearly
Reading aloud is a regular part of my lessons. It helps improve fluency, pronunciation, and self-assurance.

5. Grammar and Vocabulary, the Fun Way
I use games and quizzes to teach tricky concepts in a low-pressure, high-engagement way. Kids learn better when they’re having fun.

6. Trackable Progress Parents Can See
Each student follows a simple, visual progress plan — whether it’s spelling, reading, or writing. You’ll see the improvement, and they’ll feel proud of every step.
