I am currently a student of UPSI, studying Teaching English as a Second Language, and I aspire to be a teacher of English. I currently hold a First Class grade point average in my studies, additionally trained in teaching secondary school lower forms (form 1 to 3).

I personally believe in the concept of continuous learning - even when one eventually finishes their formal studies, they should always strive to acquire new knowledge so that they can be a more productive member of society and feel fulfilled. Learning is a lifelong process for all of us. 😁

I use a few tricks to make our lessons interesting. Gamification and relatability! We will use online quizzes and games to practice new words and grammar. We can also use English to talk about things you love, like your favourite TV shows, music, or video games. This helps you see how English is used in real-life scenarios outside of the textbook.

I want to make sure you really get it by using repetition and visual aids. You are free to ask as many times as you want and I will explain until it sticks. We can also use simple drawings or mind maps to make complicated ideas easier to understand. My goal is for you to feel 100% confident with what you've learned.

Of course, I will also focus on helping you get good grades. We will practice from sample exam papers to get you used to the format. I will teach you proven techniques for writing good essays and answering comprehension questions. By the time your exam comes around, you will surely be confident. 💯
