About Me
Assalamualaikum and Hi! My name is Miss Aisya. Since primary and secondary school, I’ve often been the go-to person for my friends and my junior whenever they needed help with their studies. That’s where my passion for teaching began. I truly enjoy helping others understand topics in a simple and fun way. One of my most meaningful experiences was being able to guide students who were struggling with the basics and watching their confidence grow step by step. Seeing their happy faces when they finally “get it” is such a rewarding feeling for me.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching approach is warm, patient, and fully centred on the child. I believe every student learns in a different way, and my role as a teacher is to understand how they learn best so I can guide them in the most effective and encouraging way. Before focusing only on lessons, I first pay attention to the student’s learning style, strengths, and pace. Some children understand better through visuals, some through explanation and discussion, while others learn best with practice and repetition. By identifying this early, I can adapt my teaching method to suit each child personally. I also believe that children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and not pressured. That is why my teaching style is relaxed and friendly, while still keeping the lesson purposeful and productive. I want students to feel safe to ask questions, share their difficulties, and build confidence step by step. A calm and positive learning environment helps children enjoy the process of learning instead of feeling afraid of making mistakes. To make progress more meaningful, I set small and achievable goals in each session. These small goals allow parents and students to clearly see improvement over time, whether it is understanding a new topic, improving problem-solving skills, or becoming more confident in answering questions. I find that this step-by-step method helps children stay motivated and prevents them from feeling overwhelmed. Most importantly, I see teaching as more than helping a student complete homework or prepare for exams. It is about nurturing confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning. I truly believe that every child has unique potential, and with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, they can grow into confident and joyful learners. My aim is to support each student in a way that makes learning meaningful, enjoyable, and reassuring for both the child and their parents.
