Hi, my name is Sandhia, and you may call me Dhia. I am an experienced tutor with a strong background in teaching Cambridge English (Levels 1–3) and Phonics. I have been teaching from 2020 to 2024, including online phonics lessons for 4–5-year-old students. In addition, I have experience teaching Life Skills to students from novice to junior levels, focusing on communication, confidence building, and essential everyday skills. I am also a home tutor, providing one-to-one tuition for a Standard 1 student, with personalised lessons tailored to each student’s learning pace and needs. I am patient, supportive, and committed to helping students build strong foundations and confidence in learning.
Teaching Method(s)
I use a real life based teaching approach, where I introduce topics by giving practical, real-world examples and asking questions related to students’ daily experiences before moving into the lesson content. My lessons are mostly question based, encouraging students to think, respond, and participate actively. This approach helps me check their understanding and ensures they fully grasp the topic before moving forward.
