I am Miss Sophia. I am a new part time tutor where my major is in English. I believe in teaching students from a young age on the importance and benefits of the English language for their future endeavours. While at the same time, finding ways to peak the students' interest of English through their hobbies and surroundings. I make sure to be updated on the current school syllabus in order to make sure I know their weaknesses and where to improve, as well as scoring for their exams. My technic of learning will depend on the students capacity and their interests. I find that polishing English through not only syllabus but entertainment too, will improve and create motivation for students, as a past student myself. In terms of vocabulary, I prepare activities such as Word of the Day to boost the students' use of words in their essays. For online sessions, I prepare useful slides that students can refer to.Subject
