About Me

Hello! My name is Syahrain. I am 23 years old and a student in field of Bachelor Education of Teaching English As Second Language (TESL) with Multimedia. I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential in English language and literature. With a year of experience as an English tutor, I've had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. My approach to tutoring revolves around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to explore language, express themselves confidently, and achieve their academic goals. Whether it's honing writing skills, dissecting literature, or mastering grammar rules, I strive to tailor my lessons to meet each student's unique needs and learning style. I believe in fostering a love for language and literature that extends beyond the classroom, equipping students with the tools they need for lifelong success. I look forward to embarking on this learning journey together.

Teaching Method(s)

My sessions covered a range of topics including grammar, writing skills, reading and speaking. I used a variety of resources such as textbooks, online exercises, past exam papers, and supplementary reading materials to tailor lessons to each student's needs. Additionally, I emphasized critical thinking and effective communication through discussions and essay writing exercises. Overall, my goal was to build confidence and proficiency in English language skills while fostering a deeper appreciation for effective communication.
