About Me

I’m Umaira, a home tutor who has been tutoring students for a while, is also currently pursuing education at an IPTS in the field of medicine. I have three months of experience teaching BM UPSR, math UPSR, and SPM in a traditional classroom. I'm a person that finds learning and learning new things to be easy and enjoyable. A few of my students who struggled with maths classes in the past have now started to show signs of improvement. I am capable of making this lesson plan more effective and interesting. As an example, use Quizizz and Kahoot applications.

Teaching Method(s)

To make my online classes more engaging, I incorporate interactive polls, quizzes, and breakout rooms, use videos and games, and encourage active learning through discussion boards and hands-on activities. I add guest speakers, virtual field trips, and gamification with rewards and leaderboards. I also use digital whiteboards, personalize learning, have themed classes, and foster social interaction with icebreakers and chat rooms.
