Hello! I’m Aina. I have graduated in Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture (Hons.), and I have experienced as a private tutor specializing in Mathematics and Science subjects. At first, I find it difficult to understand the teaching concepts but I have successfully guided students in various background levels from who were weak in comprehension, calculations and afraid of numbers, to emphasize critical thinking and problem-solving. I believe every student has their own uniqueness to understand the concepts of both subjects especially Mathematics. One of my best moments is helping therapy students with ADHD from thinking it is hard to understand the question needs to actually answer it correctly after explaining it based on their point of view, and autism from struggling to calculate 1 digit mathematical addition to 3 and 4 digits in addition who also improved in multiplication and syllabus. I've witnessed their improvements in Mathematics and Science. By understanding each student's strengths and challenges, I optimize their learning experience to unlock their full potential.Teaching Method(s)
My teaching methods:1. I understand each student’s strengths and capabilities in both subjects
2. I customize my teaching concepts to make it easier and better for them to understand depending on their needs
3. Preferably interactive learning approach, where I will ask questions or their understanding of what they have learned
4. Effective communication between each other, and effective learning approach (e.g Kahoot)
5. Monthly/weekly assessments and feedbacks for/from parents to see if any changes and improvements to be made
6. I have flexibility in my teaching time and plans for the student’s needs as I am helping them to adapt to their understanding and capabilities.
