Hello! I am Teacher Raihan. I am a dedicated and hardworking graduate who just completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). I am an experienced private tutor for 1 year teaching English and Mathematics in primary school and Additional Mathematics in secondary school. The ability to organize modules makes me an educator who can produce many excellent students.This is all credit to my experience as an SBP student, International Baccalaureate (IB) student and medical graduate in Royal College of Medicine of Perak. Being awarded as best student and received top honors in most subjects during my school years gave me a deep understanding of the course material and learning styles in most subjects, mainly English, Mathematics and Sciences. Furthermore, I was at top of my batch in UPSR (5A), PMR (8A) and gained straight A's in SPM (4A+, 5A). I am close to this in education which thus made me more empathetic and enthusiastic in acing the acquisitive young minds about how they can improve their learning holistically.
Teaching Method(s)
Each student is unique and has different effective learning approaches. With the experience of being actively involved in education since the end of my school days, I try to be versatile in my teaching techniques to maximally meet the needs and potential of students. Key teaching techniques that are commonly used are focused training techniques to overcome weaknesses in the subject, using mapping techniques for better information-retaining and acronyms as a simple way for memorizing. I focus most on the student-centric teaching strategy and multi-directional communication to ensure students are proactive and are better at the understanding of the subjects. This will not only improve their academic performance but also sharpen their communication skills which is on par with the current educational needs by the Ministry of Education. I also help students prepare for tests and exams by providing helpful study habits, exam strategies, motivation and encouragement.Ratings and Reviews
