Hi I'm teacher Sarah, a psychology graduate from IIUM Gombak, currently pursuing my masters in Health Sciences at UKM KL. I have more than 6 years of experience in education including special education for Autism and Dyslexia. During my degree year, I have been working as a part-time teacher in a private secondary school in 2015, 2016 and 2019, taught SPM candidates Bahasa Malaysia, Pendidikan Islam, History and Tilawah Quran. In 2022-2023, I had an experience working as a special needs therapist in KPJ Tawakkal Hospital which I was responsible to plan and prepare appropriate teaching materials for special needs children ranging from 5 to 21 years old. In addition, I have received training in teaching sex education to children as well. Other than that, I am well versed in Bahasa Malaysia and English. My strength is building rapport with students in which students are able to have a comfortable and effective learning lessons.Teknik Pengajaran
Before I start my classes, I always ensure that my students are ready, comfortable, and well prepared to learn in class. The first step would be creating good learning environment which rapport building with students is a necessity. During class, I would love to have a 2 way discussion with my students as I believe students are able to output the information more effectively. Creative and critical thinking in class are considered as the strategies that will assist students to think out of the box and able to find the subjects less boring. I prefer to use visual aid learning materials compared to textbooks as students will be more attentive on the informations. Eg, mind mapping, movie review, other materials etc.Subjek
