About Me
For the past 16 years, I have worked as a Scientist in a government hospital, applying the principles of Microbiology and Science every day to solve real-world problems. As a graduate of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), I have a deep understanding of the scientific method. But more than that, I have a passion for teaching that I am now excited to share with students.

I believe that Science and Maths are not just subjects to be memorized for exams—they are fascinating ways to understand the world. My goal is to be a guide who connects textbook concepts to their real-life applications, making learning relevant and exciting for your child.
Teaching Method(s)
My methodology is built on three core phases:

Phase 1: DIAGNOSE & EXPLAIN (The "What")

Before we start, I need to understand the root of the challenge.

· Gentle Diagnostic: I begin with a friendly, low-pressure conversation and a few key exercises to identify specific gaps in understanding. Is it a fear of fractions? A confusion about photosynthesis? A inability to see the story in Sejarah?
· Simplify & Clarify: I break down complex topics into their most basic components. Using clear, simple language and custom-made visual aids, I re-explain the concept from the ground up. My goal here is patience and clarity, ensuring no question is too small.

Phase 2: CONNECT & CONTEXTUALIZE (The "Why" - This is your unique strength)

This is where I bring my real-world experience into the lesson to make learning stick.

· Science & Maths in Action: This is my specialty. I don't just say "cells are important." I explain how we analyze blood cells under a microscope in the hospital to diagnose anemia. I don't just teach ratios; I show how we use them to prepare lab reagents. This transforms abstract concepts into tangible, interesting facts.
· Sejarah as a Story: For Sejarah, I act as a storyteller. Instead of memorizing dates, we explore the "characters," their "motivations," and the "plot." I connect historical events to their consequences, making the subject a compelling narrative rather than a list of facts.

Phase 3: APPLY & PRACTICE (The "How")

Knowledge is solidified by doing. This phase is about active learning and building confidence.

· Guided Practice: We work through problems together. I use a "I Do, We Do, You Do" approach:
1. I Do: I demonstrate how to solve a problem, thinking aloud.
2. We Do: We solve the next problem together, with the student leading the way with my support.
3. You Do: The student solves a problem independently, building confidence and proving to themselves that they can do it.
· Interactive Learning: I incorporate quick educational games, simple "kitchen-table" science experiments (especially for younger students), and digital quizzes to make practice fun and engaging.
· Real-World Problems: I often pose simple, real-life scenarios. "If we need to test 100 samples and can process 20 an hour, how long will it take?" This reinforces the practical value of what they're learning.
