About Me
I have always been interested in language and teaching, which has guided my academic journey so far. In the past, I completed my Diploma in English Language and Teaching, where I gained a strong foundation in English skills as well as basic teaching knowledge. During my diploma, I learned about grammar, communication, lesson planning, and teaching strategies. I also completed my internship at a school, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in a real classroom setting. Through this internship, I learned how to manage students, prepare lessons, and communicate effectively with children. It helped me understand the responsibilities of a teacher and strengthened my interest in working with students.
Currently , I am pursuing my degree in English Language and Communication. This programme allows me to further develop my understanding of language, communication, and how they influence learning and social interaction. I am improving my academic writing, critical thinking, and interpersonal communication skills. Being in this degree has helped me grow more confident and independent, and it has allowed me to reflect on how I can use language to support and guide others effectively.
Looking towards the future, I hope to use my knowledge and skills to help children who may face difficulties in their studies. I want to support them not only academically but also emotionally by creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to contribute to children’s development by helping them build confidence, improve their communication skills, and believe in their own potential. I look forward to making a meaningful difference in their lives through education and guidance. I am available only on the weekends as, I’m working .
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching approach is mainly student-centred, as I believe that students learn best when their needs, interests, and abilities are taken into consideration. I focus on understanding my students’ strengths, wants, and areas where they may lack confidence or skills. By observing and listening to them, I am able to plan lessons that are more meaningful and suitable for their level. I believe that teaching should not be one-size-fits-all, as every student learns differently and at their own pace. Therefore, I try to adapt my teaching strategies to ensure that all students are included and supported.
I aim to create a positive and safe learning environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves, ask questions, and make mistakes without fear. I encourage active participation through group work, discussions, hands-on activities, and real-life examples that students can relate to. While I guide the lesson, I also give students opportunities to take responsibility for their own learning, helping them become more independent and confident learners. I pay close attention to students who may need extra support and provide additional guidance, encouragement, or simplified explanations when necessary.
In my teaching, I also value communication and feedback. I believe that listening to students helps me understand their learning gaps and emotional needs better. By giving constructive feedback and positive reinforcement, I aim to motivate students and help them improve gradually. Overall, my goal as a teacher is to be flexible, patient, and responsive, ensuring that my teaching methods align with students’ needs while helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
